Now check your .PRINTER driver to see if it is: 1) a serial printer driver, and 2) that the driver configuration block is set to 1200 baud and othe above information, you can have it made correctly. DRIVER CONFIGURATION The other item you must check before trying to run you Serial printer is that your .PRINTER SOS driver is configured to match the printer. Usually the printers come set at 1200 baer computers in a terminal to terminal mode. It is good for moving text but not binary files. I purchased Communication Manager recently from On Three. I'm using it in my desktop manager program directly through Apple Writer to move text from my portable or one of the services to my /// and with Business Basic to upload or download programs. It is excellent so far. I'm looking forward to using it more. If someone would loan me their XMODEM and Data Capture/// programs and instructions, I'll see if I canter (I always do the easy stuff first).
